I have always loved books and reading. I've kept a diary since I was a little girl. As a teenager, I doodled in the margins of my homework and wrote dramatic, romantic poems in my notebook instead of paying attention in class. I've kept and improved these poems over the years.

When I lost my main job, I decided to start working towards something I really enjoyed doing. I wrote the first drafts of Rosie and Teddy. That was a story that had been simmering in the back of my mind for years. I researched the writing and publishing process and decided to self-publish my story. I’m always looking for opportunities to grow my skills. Writing will always be a hobby, but I dream that it can be a little bit more.
